As our SSHO/Health and Safety Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that each project we undertake adheres to the highest standards of safety and health compliance. You'll work with a team that values your expertise, and you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference on the ground every day.</p><p><br></p><h3>What You'll Do:</h3><ul><li><strong>Lead Safety Initiatives</strong>: Act as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are followed on-site and that team members are trained and equipped for safe operations.</li><li><strong>Develop &amp; Implement Safety Programs</strong>: Create, review, and update safety and health plans tailored to each project, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.</li><li><strong>Conduct Risk Assessments</strong>: Perform safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become issues.</li><li><strong>Safety Training</strong>: Provide safety orientation, training, and updates to all employees and subcontractors, ensuring that everyone on-site understands their role in maintaining a safe work environment.</li><li><strong>Compliance Management</strong>: Oversee compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and other applicable safety regulations and standards.
